Within the jacket, down insulation at 700 fill keeps you warm in extreme conditions. The Down provides maximum loft to keep you warm and snug. Down insulation has an advanced treatment applied that resists heat-robbing moisture and retains its loft even in damp conditions, making it perfect for wet weather adventures. The 700-fill-down insulation offers optimal warmth-to-weight ratio and compressibility. Down provides more insulation per ounce than any other material, making it the optimal insulator. 700 fill power is on the higher end of the downrating scale, so you can rely on it providing great warmth and comfort in adverse conditions. A full zip also exists on the jacket to provide adjustable comfort. The zip can be worn up when temperatures drop to seal in escaping heat or when temperatures rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up. Pre-elasticated cuffs and adjustable hem offer a comfortable fit and reduce the risks of heat escaping. Completing the North Face Diablo Down jackets are two zipped hand pockets and an internal chest pocket which allow you to store essential items.
